Katie Price disgusted by bullfight in Marbella

 

Watching bullfights is not Katie Price's idea of fun

Katie Price watched on in horror and disgust last week as she attended abullfight with boyfriend Leandro Pennaand his family.

Bullfighting, which sees large spikes driven into the animals' flesh before the eventual slaughter, has been condemned by animal rights groups worldwide.

‘I admit I was shocked by its brutality and I would not go again,' she says.

‘But I can now say that with knowledge of the experience.'

Katie, 33, went to the arena withLeandro, 26, and his parents Hector and Mercedes - children Harvey, 9, Junior, 6, and Princess, 4, were not present to watch the gory display.

‘Leo and I were invited and I did not want to offend, especially given Leo's Latin origins,' she tells The People.

‘I did not imagine it would be so shocking but it is part of Spanish culture. I don't want to disrespect that.'
