Geri Halliwell has split from boyfriend Henry Beckwith after nearly two and a half years together.

The former Spice Girl was seen welcoming in her 39th with a host of female friends on Saturday night, but without her man on her arm.

The seven year age gap eventually took its toll on Geri, with the mum-of-one wanting to settle down and the socialite continuing to party.

A source told The Sun: 'Geri came to the realisation that things weren't going to work with Henry.

'The age gap meant he had a wandering eye when it came to other women and he was interested in partying. She doesn't trust him.'
 

 

 

 

 

Henry, cousin of socialite Tamara Beckwith and son of millionaire property developer Sir John Beckwith, was pictured holding a hands with another woman last year while leaving a nightclub, but Geri forgave him.

The insider revealed Henry, 32, did not want to be a husband, or father to Bluebell - the singer's five-year-old daughter with director Sacha Gervasi.

 

Inconsolable Geri, who met Henry in March 2009, has now turned to sister Natalie to get over her ex.

 

 

Geri already has a long list of former flames, including Robbie Williams, Chris Evans and Italian multiillionaire Fabrizio Politi.

A spokesman for Geri refused to comment.
